We were approached by a client in Dalton in Furness looking to replace their tired 1960s shingle-clad timber frame home. It was draughty, leaking, and far from energy efficient – time for something new.
They wanted a modern, comfortable home designed for family life, with all the features you’d expect in a high-quality build.
What We Did
We designed a brand-new four-bedroom home that made the most of the plot and the views. The plan included:
• A large, light-filled lounge
• A rated energy efficient build
• An en-suite master bedroom
• A practical utility room
• An attached garage for added convenience
Everything was thoughtfully laid out to blend with the local setting while ticking all the boxes for modern living.
The Build
We managed the full build from start to finish, keeping everything on track and on time. The whole thing was completed in just 5 months – a smooth, efficient project with no dramas.
The Result
The new home now sits beautifully on the Dalton site – warm, stylish and energy efficient, with all the space the family needs. A huge step up from the old house, and built to stand the test of time.
