Dilapidated hut to beautiful local landmark
We recently had the pleasure of working on something a little different – the full rebuild of a beach hut in Baycliffe. The original structure had seen better days and was no longer fit for use, so the decision was made to take it down and start from scratch. The result is a fresh, beautifully built beach hut that stays true to its coastal charm while offering a clean, solid, and long-lasting finish.
This project was all about blending practicality with personality. The client trusted us to manage the entire rebuild, from dismantling the original hut to constructing the new one from the ground up. With that freedom, we were able to make smart, on-the-spot decisions during the build to ensure everything ran smoothly. The client added their own finishing touches inside, giving it a personal feel that really brings the space to life.
Set against the backdrop of Baycliffe’s stunning shoreline, the new hut is built to stand up to the elements while still feeling warm and inviting. We took care of all the exterior detailing too, making sure the new structure sits comfortably in its surroundings and can be enjoyed for years to come – whether it’s for peaceful mornings by the sea or summer get-togethers with family and friends.
